Janet has deep experience in the public finance arena and will bring a wealth of knowledge on tax-exempt financing to our clients as she leads the Firm’s bond counsel and public finance practice.
Janet’s clients span a variety of industries in Texas and nationwide and she is a highly respected bond counsel, underwriter counsel, credit bank counsel, borrower counsel, issuer counsel and trustee counsel in connection with multi-million-dollar municipal and conduit bond issues for school districts, charter schools, private schools and local governments.
A former high school English and journalism teacher, Janet has a passion for improving her community and helping to provide high-quality education options for all students. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her B.J. magna cum laude. She later received her Juris Doctor at University of Houston Law Center.
