Business Development/Client Services & Training Coordinator
Laura Piatt joined Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein, LLP in January 2019 and has served the firm and its clients in a variety of capacities during her tenure. Ms. Piatt currently serves as the Business Development/Client Services & Training Coordinator and works closely with clients, attorneys, and staff to provide up-to-date training resources on the issues highly impacting school clients. She leads the firm’s virtual training library to ensure clients have information and tools for success at their fingertips. Ms. Piatt plays an instrumental role in driving the firm’s vision of supporting school communities which allows clients to best support students and realize their unique visions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Piatt worked on the leadership team for a tax office where she worked closely with clients developing personalized financial management solutions for small to medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations. Ms. Piatt moved from California to Texas in 2010 and has made Texas her home.
Ms. Piatt finds passion in problem solving, project management and client and employee relations. She is value driven and is known by her colleagues as an agent for positive change who leads with confidence and approaches even the most difficult and complex challenges with a commitment to success.
