Mark Moreno joined Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein, LLP as Senior Associate in 2020. Mr. Moreno represents clients in a wide range of general legal and business issues, providing day-to-day legal advice and counsel. His practice includes the representation of school districts, charter schools and other public and private entities in all areas, including the negotiation, acquisition, development and operation of all types of commercial properties.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as National Director for KW Commercial, one of the fastest growing commercial real estate franchises in North America. In 2019, KW Commercial grew to over 2200 commercial members in 800 offices across the US and Canada and was ranked as a top 5 commercial real estate franchise.
Prior to joining KW Commercial, Mark served as Vice-President and General Manager for the Houston Region of McDonald’s USA, LLC. In this role, he oversaw real estate, finance, marketing, business insights, operations, franchising and human resources for over 780 restaurants that were owned and operated by 140 franchisees. Under Mark’s leadership, the Region led the country in sales, guest counts, and income growth in 2012 and 2014.
He previously served as Vice-President of Development for Schlotzsky’s, Inc., where he was responsible for the acquisition and development of over 100 free standing restaurants.
A native of South Texas, Mark graduated from DePaul University and the University of Iowa College of Law. Mark is committed to community service and has served on the board of RMHC of San Antonio. He and his wife, Irene, have a son, Mark Jr., and a daughter, Sofia.
