Associate
Jeanette Berlanga joined Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein, LLP as an associate in October 2023. Ms. Berlanga currently plays an integral role in the Commercial Real Estate Team at the Firm. She also assists in handling multiple school law matters.
While in law school, Ms. Berlanga worked as a Law Clerk for the Firm in the summers of 2022 & 2023, as a Legal Intern at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) in 2022, Law Clerk at De Mott, McChesney, Curtright and Armendáriz (DMCA), LLP, and Intern at Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
Ms. Berlanga has spent almost a decade in the legal field through various roles as a Paralegal, Law Clerk and Legal Intern. With her experience and a passion for law, she brings her goals of excellent client service to the Real Estate Team here at SLHA.
Education & Honors
Ms. Berlanga attended KIPP Texas Public Schools and graduated as a founding member in 2013. Ms. Berlanga graduated from Franklin and Marshall college in, 2017 receiving a Bachelors in Government. Ms. Berlanga graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2023, receiving her J.D. While at St. Mary’s University, Ms. Berlanga made the Dean’s List and was a recipient of the Marianist Green Award for Community Spirit and Cooperation.
