Pat Lewis is a native of Mississippi and the oldest of 7 children to her parents, William and Catherine Reed. Pat is married to Dr. Larry Lewis and they have two beautiful daughters and three grandchildren.

Dr. Pat Lewis has over 40 years of outstanding service as a professional educator in Dallas ISD, Lancaster ISD and currently, associate superintendent in Grand Prairie ISD. Pat has served as a campus and district administrator. In Grand Prairie ISD, Pat has served as Executive Director of School Improvement, Chief of School Improvement, Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent. Pat’s expertise in teaching and learning is only surpassed by her love for students. Her ability to build relationships with all constituents and shareholders has been the foundation of her success personally and professionally. Pat is committed to the service and support of others to ensure students have options when they graduate. Pat is dedicated to life-long learning, which allows her to LIVE THE VISION IN REAL TIME!
Pat comes from a long line of distinguished educators. Pat has a bachelor’s degree in education from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum and Instruction. Pat completed her doctorate degree from Texas Tech University in Educational Leadership.
