Mary Kendall

Senior Counsel

Ms. Kendall is an accomplished senior counsel with extensive experience counseling clients in the areas of commercial real estate including land use, environmental, and oil and gas; corporate entity and business transactions; healthcare; employment; and regulatory compliance. She joined the Firm in May 2022 as Senior Counsel on the real estate team where she advises both public and private clients in the negotiation, acquisition, divestiture, leasing, development, operation and financing of commercial property. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Kendall worked for many years as in-house counsel in real estate and development positions for large retail and oil and gas companies, with responsibility for acquisition, divestiture and leasing of locations across 17 states. This extensive experience with sophisticated commercial, industrial and private use clients on a variety of complex development projects allows Ms. Kendall to bring that knowledge and experience to bear to support the Firm’s clients and mitigate risk.

Ms. Kendall has worked as an adjunct Faculty Member at Northwest Arkansas Community College for Paralegal Studies program facilitating lectures in real estate law, business organizations and legal research and writing.

Education

Ms. Kendall attended Letourneau University in Longview, Texas where she received a B.S. in Business Management, 1994 and Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (Now Texas A&M Law School), in Fort Worth, Texas where she received her J.D., Magna Cum Laude, 1998.
