Melissa Gutierrez joined Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein in July 2025. Ms. Gutierrez has over 25 years of experience in Texas and Arizona as a Litigation Paralegal in several areas of law including ERISA, personal injury, family law, and probate litigation. Ms. Gutierrez has provided trial support in state and federal courts in both Texas and Arizona and has assisted with appellate cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Gutierrez brings many years of experience assisting attorneys across all phases of litigation. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Everest College in Phoenix, Arizona.
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys time with her children, meditation, and learning about all of the fun and interesting places that San Antonio has to offer.
