Morgan Starr

Associate

Morgan Starr joined Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein, LLP as an associate in 2022. Ms. Starr is a member of the firm’s commercial real estate team and leads our materialmen and mechanics lien filing and enforcement team. She works closely with clients to draft commercial purchase and sale contracts, commercial lease agreements, easement agreements, and materialmen and mechanics liens for both general contractors and subcontractors, improving commercial properties.  

Education

Ms. Starr graduated from Florida State University in 2017, receiving her B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. Ms. Starr graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2022, receiving her J.D. While at St. Mary’s University, Ms. Starr served as the Student Bar Association President, the student coordinator for the San Antonio Legal Services Association Wills Clinic, and a Staff Writer for The Sc​holar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race & Social Justice. Ms. Starr received the Alma L. Lopez “Women in Law” Student Leadership Award, the Texas Access to Justice Law Student Pro Bono Award, and the Dean’s Award.
